Meet the Team
Owner & Trainer
Stefaan was born in Belgium and was trained in English riding disciplines as a child. He became an avid fox hunter and racehorse trainer during his thirty years in that country. In 1994, he moved to Florida to pursue a career in Real Estate but never lost his love for horses. Later in life, Stefaan moved to Colorado and discovered Western riding disciplines as well as packing and camping with horses in the mountains which has become his passion. In 2019, Stefaan acquired and continues to enrich Spring Hollow Ranch Equestrian Park which is a multi-event equestrian center that fulfills his dream of creating a facility where every discipline is welcome. Peak Versatility Horses ties all of his experience, admiration for equines and love for training into a venue that produces well rounded horses and mules that everyone can enjoy.
Owner & Trainer
Jen was born in Seattle, WA but has lived for the majority of her life in Colorado. Her early days of riding included riding any and all horses she possibly could find and helping on her parent’s farm raising Dutch Warmbloods for Dressage. Dressage was her passion for many years until she was introduced to packing horses and mules in the mountains for outfitters in Colorado. She packed professionally for 15 years until she decided to discover new trails with her personal mules on her own. Throughout these equine endeavors, Jen received a BS in Animal Science from Cornell University and a DVM from Colorado State University. She started her Veterinary practice Advanced Equine, LLC in Durango CO in 1997 and has enjoyed working as an Equine Ambulatory Veterinarian for 25 years. Peak Versatility Horses gives her the outlet to help train horses and mules that are safe and fun to ride.
What People Are Saying
I want to recognize the excellent experience I have had with the trainer and consignor, Stefaan Bultinck. I have to tell you that Mr. Bultinck has been nothing but helpful and informative not only at the sale but up through today. The horse is trained as advertised, has a perfect disposition for me, has no medical problems, and is an easy keeper. Mr. Bultinck has been forthcoming with information on feed, tack, and previous training and is clearly interested in the well being of the horse. Basically, he answered every question I had after the sale, promptly and with geniality. If I am ever in the market for another horse, one trained by Mr. Bultinck would be at the top of my list.
We train our horses out of Bayfield, CO and out of Hesperus, CO at Spring Hollow Ranch. Thanks to these exceptional facilities our horses are used to indoor arenas, outdoor arenas, new horses, dogs and commotion.
